Hook Mounted Multi-spindle for Leaf Springs

The client was seeking a custom torque reaction solution to improve the operator’s ergonomics for assembling leaf springs.

GCI designed a multi-spindle that is hook-mounted and adjustable. The multi-spindle approach allows the tool to react torque off of other fasteners so a torque reaction arm is not required. The wheels on the side allow the operator to adjust the spacing between the tools for different models.
