The client needed a safe and ergonomic torque reaction solution for a fan assembly process on agricultural equipment.
GCI designed a steel torque reaction arm with pads to capture the pulley on the assembly during the fastening process. The purpose of this arm is to securely hold the DC tool and absorb up to 340 NM, safeguarding the operator from any reactive forces. Furthermore, the arm is equipped with a load-balancing system, allowing the tool to be easily maneuvered with minimal effort, thus enhancing the ergonomic aspects of the operation.
