The client was seeking a torque reaction solution with an inline extension designed to ergonomically benefit the operator while fastening on an oil pan.
GCI designed an industrial torque reaction arm with encoded joints that are powered by our AdaptiCS® platform. These encoders allow the software to track the position of the arm end tooling to within 3/8″. This data helps signal the operator if they move the arm to the wrong fastening point ensuring a correct torque pattern.
