Overhead Lift Assist Stacker for Clutch Assembly

The client was seeking an ergonomic industrial lift-assist solution to help assemble a clutch assembly for agriculture machinery.

GCI built a custom stacker-style manipulator with an end effector for clutch component pick-up, rotation, and placement. The air motor powers the 180-degree rotation, and a hoist controls the vertical lift with integrated manipulator controls. A two-handed safety switch ensures the operator doesn’t accidentally drop the part during the process.
