What is required of the air supply for GCI pneumatic manipulators and torque arms?

GCI systems, most of which are powered primarily by air, are specifically designed to operate within a pressure range of 5.5 to 7 bar (80 to 100 psi). It is crucial that the compressed air supply to the unit does not exceed 7 bar or 100 psi. The minimum required flow capacity for the compressed air supply to the lift system is 0.2m³/min (7 cfm).

Please note that end tooling mounted to a lift assist system may require additional flow. Additionally, the air supply should be clean and dry to ensure optimal performance.

What Our Clients Say

Our new GCI manipulator arm has been a great addition to our operation. It safely and efficiently handles 8-, 10-, and 12-inch Alpha valves without slowing down production. The installation also allowed us to reorganize the area — creating more room, reducing clutter, and enabling Alpha valve assembly in two separate work cells. This added flexibility really helps when we’re running large orders of 4- and 6-inch Alpha valves.
