How does a torque reaction or material handling end effector control a hoist?

For end-of-hook and stacker systems, our usual practice is to connect and incorporate the hoist pendant with our control handles. The end effector and hoist controls remain as separate systems (i.e. avoid complex integration) while consolidating the controls for the operator for convenience.

The specific placement and integration of the pendant on the handles vary depending on its shape and style. We require a pendant model to add it successfully.

What Our Clients Say

Our new GCI manipulator arm has been a great addition to our operation. It safely and efficiently handles 8-, 10-, and 12-inch Alpha valves without slowing down production. The installation also allowed us to reorganize the area — creating more room, reducing clutter, and enabling Alpha valve assembly in two separate work cells. This added flexibility really helps when we’re running large orders of 4- and 6-inch Alpha valves.
