Dual Pedestal Torque Reaction Arms

The client required two systems to absorb the reactive forces for assembly processes while minimizing the amount floor space required.

GCI designed a dual pedestal fitted with two unique torque reaction arms for separate assembly processes. One arm only required a horizontal tool with a single position and a visual indicator to signal OK/NOK to the operator. The other arm also includes the same type of visual indicator along with a brake verification circuit, tool pivot, and a height adjustment for the tool remote start handle.
