Rollover Assembly Stand for Generator Assembly

The client needed a safe and ergonomic method for flipping over a generator assembly during a process.

GCI designed a floor-mounted rollover fixture with a custom gripper and an air motor to power the rotation of the assembly. The intuitive controls allow the operator to roll the assembly in both directions to get it positioned for each step of the process. When it is time to release the part, two levers must be activated at the same time to minimize the chances of an accidental drop.
