Hoist-Mounted Vacuum Gripper for Tank Handling

The client needed a safe and ergonomic solution for lifting and handling tanks during the fabrication process.

GCI designed a hook mounted vacuum gripper that allows the operator to lift and position the tanks using an integrated hoist pendant. Alignment pads help position the gripper correctly on each tank before lifting.

A vacuum gauge and visual indicators allow the operator to monitor the grip during handling. The system also includes an alarm to alert the operator if there is an issue with vacuum pressure.
