A manufacturing facility handling propane tanks needed a more efficient way to load their product onto semi-trailers. They had already designed a custom pallet capable of holding 12 propane tanks in a tightly packed configuration, but their existing process required workers to hand-load each tank onto the trailers individually. They approached us to develop a lifting system that could handle their custom pallet, streamlining their loading process.

Our Solution

We designed and provided a custom lift assist system capable of lifting and transporting their fully loaded pallet. This system allows operators to move the entire pallet of propane tanks at once, eliminating the need for manual handling. Given that the system is installed outdoors under a canopy, we worked with the client to ensure reliable operation in the challenging winter conditions. They integrated an air-drying system into their setup to prevent moisture-related issues, ensuring year-round functionality.

This lift assist solution transformed the client’s propane tank loading process, making it safer, faster, and more efficient while ensuring reliable operation in all seasons.
