Skid Steer Track Lift Assist Stacker

The client had issues with installing the tracks onto a skid steer assembly. It required multiple operators and created a substantial risk of injury.

GCI designed a custom lift assist system to grip the track, pitch it 90 degrees, and contour the shape to make the installation process easy for one operator to manage. The hoist and stacker tube setup is utilized for greater vertical travel. The hoist, gripper, and tilt controls are all integrated into the standard operator handles. A pneumatic joint allows for the handles to be adjusted vertically to improve operator ergonomics during the lifting process.
