The client needed an ergonomic solution to tighten tractor frame bolts while preventing the operator from absorbing the reactive torque forces.
GCI designed a smart torque reaction arm that features a load-balancing system to make moving the tool into place very intuitive. A remote start button activates the tool and locks up the arm to ensure it properly reacts the torque forces. The AdaptiCS smart arm technology helps prevent errors by tracking the tooltip through the assembly process.
