Vacuum Gripper with Powered Roll and Linear Balance Handle

The client needed a solution to improve the safety of a material handling operation involving lift and roll movements for a large metal box.

GCI designed an end-of-hook vacuum gripper with an air-motor-powered roll and a mounting point for the hoist controls. To improve the machine’s ergonomics, a linear balance handle allows the operator to stay in an ideal posture.
